Iglesia de la Concepción

Parte septentrional de la fachada (MR)
La iglesia de la Concepción, datada en el año 1655, cumple con la liturgia del convento con el mismo nombre. Está ubicada en una de las calles más relevantes de la ciudad.

El antiguo seminario menor de San Torcuato o convento de San Agustín, está ubicado junto al Palacio de Peñaflor y la alcazaba e inmediatamente al Norte de la acequia de la Ciudad.

La iglesia de San Agustín formaba parte del antiguo convento del mismo nombre. Hoy en día se encuentra separada tanto catastral como físicamente.

La iglesia de San Torcuato fue construida en el siglo XVII, junto al Hospital de los Jesuitas, que posteriormente pasó a ser Hospital Real, trasladándose allí todas las funciones del antiguo edificio situado en la plaza de Villalegre.
